THE ASSIMILATION OF SOUTHERN CAMEROONS BY LA REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROON.
THE ASSIMILATION OF SOUTHERN CAMEROONS BY LA REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROON.
It was on 22nd September 2016 that this problem started. With a peaceful demonstration, to people being locked up in prison and cells for asking for equal opportunities in their own homeland, Ambazonia.
Young people frustrated
Since 2016, the unsettled situation has caused so many young people, boys and girls, to go and seek refuge in their neighbouring countries, which is causing their lives. The daughter of a sister from Southern Cameroons, Ambazonia, with a Master’s Degree in hand, was almost killed in Mali. They cut her flesh up, but thank God for the intervention of a passer-by, she survived. All this is because their own country has no jobs, no peace, even no voice to contribute in their own country, they all want to go, but young people cannot demonstrate because they will be accused of being terrorists and will also face life behind bars.
Once you open your mouth to speak, if you are caught, your life’s destruction has started. Young people don’t have voices, they cannot contribute in their society. This is what the present government of La Republique is doing.
What a shame that we believe that children are our future, but with La Republique government, the old are their future, young people should not talk when adults are talking.
Children are left orphans
As the situation in Cameroon carries on, so many children are becoming orphans, some whose parents have died either through stray bullets or by direct bullets shot by government soldiers. Some are orphans as their parents died on their way escaping from the soldiers killing all males in Southern Cameroons (Ambazonians), or running away from hunger or because their homes were being burned and they were homeless. Some are running away from the embarrassment they get from soldiers who batch in their homes and rape them in front of their children. Some are even killed in front of their children. Women will run away from home because of embarrassment of being raped in front of their children.
Some children are orphaned as their parents will empty their bank account to escape abroad…! but end up being swallowed by the monstrous sea waves in the ocean. Some children will survive while others will die with their mother and father or only their mother or only their father. I saw on the news some Southern Cameroonians (Ambazonians) dead on their way abroad, only their children survived and were crying.
Where is the peace? Where is our world going? The world leaders and all human rights organisations should stand up and take decisions on Cameroon and its government.
A word to the wise is sufficient. Long live Southern Cameroons! Long live Ambazonians!

(December 18, 2014) Cameroon’s legislature has passed new anti – terrorism legislation that includes the death penalty for citizens who, either as individuals or in a group carry out, abet or sponsor terrorism.
The draft law also prescribes the death penalty for persons who carry out ‘’ any activity which can lead to a general revolt of the population or disturb the normal functioning of the country’’ and for anyone who supplies arms, war equipment, bacteria and viruses with the intention of killings.
The same law applies for people guilty of kidnapping with terrorist intent, as well as for ‘’ anyone who directly or indirectly finances acts of terrorism’’.
This Anti- terrorism law is manifestly against the fundamental liberties and right of the Cameroon people. In the guise to fight terrorism, the government real intent is to stifle political dissent ‘’Kah Wallah, a leader of the Cameroon people’s party lament.
The 2014 anti –terrorism law has sparked a wave of criticism across the political sphere from opposition political leaders to civil society, church ministers, trade unions and civil society.
They argued that the law is designed to terrorise the people and kill their freedoms.
Various opposition political leaders and civil society exponents have vowed to fight the proposed law to its logical end. Cameroonians must resist and say no to this manoeuvre ….. We will fight this law by every means said Fru Ndi, leader of the SDF opposition party in Cameroon
Furthermore, the 2014 anti-terrorism law has been use to silent dissent of the southern Cameroon separatist’s movement.
Seseku Ayuk Tabe leader of the southern Cameroon separatist movement and nine of his followers have been given life sentences by a military court in Cameroon capital Yaoundé in the early hours of Tuesday 20th of August 2019. They were convicted of secession, insurrection, rebellion, destruction of state properties, demonstration against the state of Cameroon amongst other charges. Their lawyers accused the judge of bias and withdrew from the proceedings.
The 2014 anti-terrorism law has earlier sparked a wave of criticism and many political analysts had seen this as a means to silent dissent most especially SCNC activists and opposition parties. Some people believe that the law has been enacted to terrorise the people of southern Cameroon and possible killing their freedoms.
The 2014 anti-terrorism law is also against the fundamental liberties and the rights of the southern Cameroonian people who are clamouring for a complete separation from French Cameroon and the formation of a new nation known as Ambazonia.
More than 2000 southern Cameroonians are being incarcerated in prisons all over French Cameroon for merely expressing their political views on the on-going crisis in Southern Cameroon. Most of them have been sentence to 12-15 years imprisonment using the anti-terrorism law while others are still lamenting behind bars with deplorable prison conditions.

A leader of Cameroon’s separatist movement , Sisiku Ayuk Tabe and nine of his followers have been given life sentences by a military court in Cameroon capital Yaoundé in the early hours of Tuesday 20th of august 2019.
They were convicted of secession, insurrection, rebellion, destruction of state properties, among other charges. Their lawyers accused the judge of bias and withdrew from the proceedings.
The separatist leaders sang protest songs in court as the sentence was handed down in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The severity of the sentence has raised fears that the bloody playing out in Cameroon’s Anglophone regions between separatist rebels and military forces will be prolonged and that no ceasefire will be possible.
In January 2018, Ayuk Tabe and nine other separatists were arrested in a hotel in the Nigerian capital, Abuja, allegedly by Nigerian Special Forces. They were then handed over to Cameroon- a move that was ruled illegal by a Nigerian court in March this year.
The defendants refused to recognise the right of the military tribunal in Yaoundé to try them. Their lawyers are meeting to draft an appeal, which has to be filed within 10days.
Felix Agbor Balla,a leading human rights advocate in Cameroon, described the decision as a sham which would cause a lot of anger among Anglophones.
The 2014 anti terrorism law has earlier sparked a wave of criticism and many political analysts had seen this as a means to silent dissent most especially SCNC activists and opposition parties. The law has been enacted to terrorise the people of southern Cameroon and possible killing their freedoms.
The law is also against the fundamental liberties and the rights of the southern Cameroonian people who are clamouring for a complete separation from French Cameroon and with the formation of a new nation known as Ambazonia.
The draft law in its entirety prescribed the death penalty or life imprisonment for persons who carry out any activity which can lead to a general revolt of the population or disturb the normal functioning of the country.
An estimated 2000 Anglophones or southern Cameroonians are being incarcerated all over French Cameroon prisons and the 2014 anti terrorism law applied to their cases.

Don’t look behind you anymore. The train is arriving with ground zero already on board.we need you all on board. No one must be left behind .we all must bring out our very best for a fast and safe arrival.
Dear comrades of our revolution,we careless about anyone ,what really matters now is anyone who can push us to Buea now rather than later. To do this we must kill all CONSPIRACY and RESURECT COLABORATION in the absence of pure UNITY as our MODUS OPERANDI to END the WAR against our people and win the FREEDOM and RESTORATION for which many have been killed or caged and for which many have suffered and risk having no future again for themselves.
This struggle is at is best when all the activists speak one language. You don’t need to love them or hate them.It does not matter to this struggle righty now because this struggle is at its best speed forward when all the activists used their abilities, brains and breath all focuses against the enemy and not when they are distracted to start defending groups ,governments, positions ,postings and particular people?
Regardless of the disagreements that could be existing between us ,we have seen constant unity around the idea of independence for the former British southern Cameroon and separation from the Republic of Cameroon,”THE SCNC IDEOLOGY” and not division.
We have only seen one anger emerge against a common enemy that is killing ,caging and maiming our people.we have not seen one single individual attempt to even say they love the Republic of Cameroon and that they want to unite with them.We are united by one common suffering as victims of the Republic of Cameroon more than even spoken words can explain and this is what is important in this last minute push than anything else.
Let me make it clear .It is our collective efforts everybody on board this train that will take us to Buea and this can only happen if the Republic of Cameroon does not stop the war he declare on us and also if we too don’t stop defending ourselves there by creating a humanitarian crisis that the world cannot ignore but must step in to arrest .And the international community will know only if all of us activists in the diaspora go out to exposed the atrocities of the republic of Cameroon. .All the diaspora activists on board this train to exposed the atrocities of the devilish regime of Mr Paul Biya.Let us all be focus in letting the world know the on going genocide taking place in the Ambazonia land so the perpetrators of this hideous crime should be persecuted.
All the activists in the diaspora get into the drivers sit and activate your activism well well.Anyone who brings you any negative topic think of the dead of your love ones refuse to be distracted. Our people have given up their lives .their homes and entire future .Let us not let them down .we have to solidify the faith in ground zero .LETS MAkE THE DIFFERENCE AND FINISH THE JOB.

ELECTA SHALO MANYIMUCHUA
This is why we want our Country back. My heart bleeds ,I keep weeping on a daily bases. Do you know why??
POWERCAM.
Powercam was a Hydroelectricity dam located in Yoke Muyuka . This plant supplied Electricity to the entire British Southern Cameroon. This plant was closed down by the Republic of Cameroon after the illegal reunification.
CAMEROON BANK
The CAMEROON BANK was an English speaking bank with its head office in Buea. It was the biggest bank in the two Cameroons, operated under the BARCLAYS BANK UK STANDARDS in West Africa. This Bank was crumbled Amadou Ahidjo
NATIONL PRODUCE MARKETING BOARD
This was a giant Cocoa and Coffee authority of the British Southern Cameroon with the head office in Victoria today called Limbe. This giant cooperation provided the Southern Cameroon farmers with details of the costs of their produce in the world market on a daily bases and marketing their products This cooperation invested its reserves in the Cameroon bank and employed thousands of young men and women. This cooperation also provided holiday jobs for students from poor homes. I personally benefited from this scheme in which I used to pay my fees in one of the top secondary schools at the time. It also ran a football club by the appellation ‘CAMARk KUMBA’ This club recruited talented Southern Cameroon boys like Tataw Stephen and Ndip Akem who eventually became professional footballers. As usual as a away of systematic enslaving us it was shut down with all is funds embezzled.
COOPERATVE SOCIETIES
Dutch culture implanted in the English speaking Cameroon .Farmers had to work in cooperative groups to get good market for their produce .These companies provided quality training on crop management ,utilisation of germicides pesticides and insecticides. Built ovens and maintenance of existing ones for the farmers to dry their cocoa and hence produce quality produce for the world market . These societies also provided employments for southern Cameroon people. Most of the managers in these cooperatives were trained in Britain. What happened to it ? It went down the drain like the others as to further subject us to more slavery .
MOBILE WING POLICE.
This was a well trained police force that we inherited from our colonial master Britain. This force was noted for its discipline .Amado Ahidjo replaced it with the ruthless and corrupt ‘ Gendermerie’ whose main jobs were alcoholism and Indiscipline in contrast to our Mobile Wing force .The Republic of Cameroon made sure they erase all those values that the southern Cameroon people valued .
CAT.(CAMEROON AIR TRANSPORT)
The main Hub was Tiko international airport. It transported goods from the Cameroon Development Cooperation (CDC).It was also in charge of domestic airports. This represented British Southern Cameroon values and was a fast growing airlines in West Africa at the time. She too close down.
THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.(PWD)
This public works department was the Southern Cameroon identity of heavy duty machines readily available for council road maintenance and repairs .Their pride was also seen in football Clubs PWD Kumba alias MEME WORKs and PWD Bamenda. The PWD was the fastest growing road construction and maintenance body in Wesr Africa. It was meticulously shifted by vicious elements of the Republic of Cameroon to their region
EKONA RESEARCH CENTER
This CENTER was created by the Americans and was the best research CENTER in West Africa but was systematically” franchophonised “.
TIKO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
It was indeed the fastest growing international airport in west Africa, The Late DR Nkwame Nkhrumah of Ghana landed in that airport for an official state visit to the Southern Cameroon. There were other airports in the Former British Southern Cameroon too .There were airports in Bali and Mamfe that were all operational. But they were all shut down and its building left to rot. What an evil way of treating the same people you claim are your people if there was not a hidden agenda to systematically erase us as a people with equal right
TIKO WHARF
This wharf linked maritime transport between British Southern Cameroons via Nigeria to the entire West Africa .It was growing to the status of a seaport .This was also killed and bury our dreams.
FONADER
This was created through a British Southern Cameroon initiative to subsidise farmers both financially and materially .It was transferred to Yaounde by Amadou Ahidjo and change the name to “Credit Agricole ” later money got embezzled and it too ,like its counterpart closed down.
OMBE TRADE CENTER
This center was equipped with heavy duty industrial machinery. This center trained southern Cameroon young men to master and maintained these machines .This too became “francophonised, and it’s entrance examination written in French
CAMEROON DEVELOPMENT COOPERATION (CDC)
This cooperation too is systematically been privatised to stakeholders by the Biya regime.
SONARA
This is the personal property of Biya and his family .No Cameroonian is allow to question how is been run let alone Southern Cameroon. Is taxes are paid in Douala. Even the local indigenes has never benefitted from SONARA which is in their land
All the days that meant something to us ,that reminded us of our culture as a people such as EMPIRE DAY was abolished. Are these not enough reason to cry? Are these not enough reason for us to want our county back.?
To crown it all when we went out in 2016 for a peaceful protest holding peace plants .What happened .The Adollf Hitler of the 21st century in the name of Paul Biya declared war on us and now has resulted in thousands of our people as refugees ,thousands Internally displaced and thousands thrown into the dungeons of la republic of Cameroon and Thousands killed .Yes French Cameroon has opted to reduce us as beggars and slave to them. We say no to injustice .we say no to subjugation. We refuse to be exploited economically dominated politically ,humiliated and segregated.
SO YOU SEE WHY SCNC (SOUTHERN CAMEROON NATIONAL COUNCIL) IDEOLOGY OF SEPARATION WENT VIRAL.
COMRADE Electa Shalo
SCNC UK
When I was growing up my mother used to tell us that education was the key to success. In Cameroon after education we went back home to discover that the luck of the house has been changed by Paul BIya . Emmanuel Macron and his predecessors making us unable to enter our home .Ambazonians donot have a home.Where we call home is houses in ruins and our people living in bondage .
In 1961 the Former British Southern Cameroon obtained independence which was never revoked. Secondly we have never had a Union Treaty with Republic of Cameroon Everything that happened in Fumban was all manipulative .Therefore without a union Treaty Republic of Cameroon is occupying our territory illegally, consequently we remained independent. Therefore any decree ,law ,political decision ever taken after 1961 affecting us as a people is null and void. We were compelled by circumstances to obey those laws decrees and other political decisions.
I am calling on all Former British Cameroon people ,called today as AMBZONIANS should start demanding for the UNITED NATIONS and the rest of the International Community’ to hold The Republic of Cameroon for violating UNGA RES 1608, Para5(b) which is that part of the resolution where Republic of Cameroon refuse to abide to in 1961.
I called it the MISSING LINK. That is the key and only key that will let us start enjoying our independence. That is our key to success. That is the key to open that lock placed by Biya and France .
If the United Nations and the other International Communities does not hold the Republic of Cameroon for violating Resolution 1608 we will never be allow to get away from them.It is our right and responsibility as a people to force the International Community and the United Nations to hold Republic of Cameroon for the violation.
Once this is done ,we become automatically free from their illegal occupation. We can even have the support of the International Community to invite any friendly military force to eject them from our land thus respecting our territorial integrity. This we must do now in this generation.
The locality of Bali Nyonga in the North West region of Cameroon recorded another massacre by the military of the evil regime of Paul Biya. Seven unarmed civilians were brutally killed on Saturday 25th of May 2019 from same family. Among the victims were:
Vincent Dingkaa
George Foncham
Baya Peter
Dominic Kwoyila (Injured but died later)
Baya Bertrand
Baya Gabriel
Na Grace Feh Sadnyonga
It is reported that the family was massacred after one of theirs was killed and in attempt to retrieve the corpse , they were shot by Cameroon military at close range.
This is not the first time that this locality (Bali Nyonga ) has suffered huge loss as a result of Cameroon military brutalities . On the 22nd of November 2018 where Chemical weapons was used to kill Separatist fighters and Civilians.
The reason why these residents were murdered was because the Cameroon security forces were told they knew the hideouts of the fighters but did not disclose to the military. There were no bullet wounds on their bodies , In order to cover up by Cameroon security forces, they were all set on fire to eliminate any evidence.
The exact place where the Ambazonia fighters and some unarmed civilians were killed is called Bou Commando, along the road leading to Batibo in Bali
It’s been almost three years now sine Southern Cameroon was plunged into a political crisis, as a result of lawyers demanding that the integrity of their courts be upheld. This demand was accompanied by peaceful protests, as they called on the government of Cameroon to consider their request. Teachers, from these regions also joined forces with the lawyers to voice their own concerns, about the assimilation of the French system of education into the English regions. Within a few days, university of Buea students also became part of the protests, in order to add weight to the teachers’ concerns and issues. The response of the government was violence, as it dispatched its forces of law and order to arrest, detain, and torture the protesters.
This brutal response led to the killing of some of the students, such as Akum Julius who was killed in Bamenda in December of 2016. In the Buea university campus, female students were forced from their rooms, beaten, and raped, while others were left with life-changing injuries. The violence escalated as more and more Anglophone civilians went on peaceful protests with trade unions demanding that their basic rights be respected, and marginalization against them stopped. As Nelson Mandela once said: ‘To deny people their human rights, is to deny their very humanity,’ these protesters were only asking for what is rightfully theirs.
The government went all out to ensure that the people of Southern Cameroon were silenced. The vicious killings continued unabated, with children and the elderly inclusive. There is the killing of four month old Ngum Martha who was gunned at her parent’s house in the South West region on May 20 this year. Patients were burnt in Mbingo hospital, and villages being torched, forcing the residents to take shelter in the bushes and forests, with some escaping to Nigeria as refugees.
The French Cameroon government continues, to be in denial, of the gross violation of human rights in Southern Cameroon. Those unlawfully imprisoned, live in squalid and inhumane conditions, while experiencing torture, without any hope of justice. School closures as a result of the insecurity, imply that a generation of Southern Cameroonians will lose out on their basic right to education.
As Nelson Mandela, the pioneer freedom fighter in Africa said:’ No single person can liberate a country. You can only liberate a country if you act as a collective.’ I therefore join my fellow Southern Cameroonians under the banner of the SCNC UK to implore the international community, such as the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States of America , and the African Union to intervene in this crisis as we the people of Southern Cameroon fight for our independence from Southern Cameroon.
Sirri A Fondo
It is indeed grievous that up till now the World still remains silence with the ongoing genocide in the English Speaking Region of Cameroon. Where are the peace makers in the world? Are the UN and other united bodies claiming that they are not seeing what is going on in Anglophone Region of Cameroon? Where thousands of civilians homes have been razed, hundreds of villages has been deserted, thousands of people killed, millions of people on exile, hundreds of thousands of people hiding in bushes and more than 700,000 refugees in Nigeria and other neighbouring countries.
For long will the people of Southern Cameroons / Ambazonia suffer before the UN and International Community come with aid or has there not been more than enough bloodshed?
Are the UN and International Community waiting for an open war and for the entire Anglophone Region is totally wiped out before coming with aid?
Why the silence UN and International Community? Are you people waiting for a Second Rwanda to occur in Southern Cameroons / Ambazonia before coming with aid?
We the people of Southern Cameroons / Ambazonia are asking the UN and International Community to break silence and say something about the ongoing genocide in English Speaking Regions of Cameroon.
We the people of Southern Cameroons /Ambazonia are pleading with the UN and International Community to come with aid before the entire nation is totally wiped out.
