Giving the ongoing political crisis in British Southern Cameroon which has seen the deaths of thousands and displacement of millions, SCNC Uk shares a humanitarian responsibility to her people.
The Challenge
Overcrowding in Orphanages, which often lack basic necessities such as clean water, sanitation, and healthcare. Additionally, the conflict has disrupted food production and distribution, leading to food shortages and malnutrition.
In the South and North West regions, civilians are also at risk of injury and death, and healthcare systems may be unable to cope with the demand for emergency services
The Solution
Continues support of orphanages and IDPS (Internally Displaced Persons) especially children with basic commodities needed for daily survival in orphanages and informal camps.
The Result
Through internal fundraising by members of SCNC UK, we’ve been able to provide to some degree, basic commodities like rice, oil, and more needed for the smooth and daily functioning of some orphanages in these regions.
